At the instruction of Temirkhan Amantayevich Yelshibayev, Director General of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory (RVL), Ruslan Muratbekovich Talipov, Head of the Metrology Department, participated in the scientific and practical forum “Me and Standards: My Contribution to the Future of the Country”, held on October 15, 2026, at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
The event brought together representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology, the National Accreditation Center, the Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Metrology, the National Center for Expertise and Certification, and other relevant organizations.
The forum addressed the role of standardization, certification, and metrology in ensuring the quality and safety of products and services. These areas are particularly important for RVL, as the reliability of laboratory test results depends on compliance with established requirements, measurement accuracy, proper equipment maintenance, and the application of consistent quality control procedures.
For the Republican Veterinary Laboratory, standardization is one of the key tools for ensuring the quality of laboratory operations. Compliance with regulatory requirements and the development of metrological support help improve the reliability of test results and strengthen confidence in laboratory diagnostics.
