Within the framework of the event, guests were given a guided tour of the laboratory’s structural units, demonstrating the complete cycle of biological material from the sampling stage to the presentation of the results.

Participants were introduced to the main areas of the laboratory’s activities, including serological, biochemical, molecular-genetic (PCR) research, parasitological diagnostics, and food safety research.
For many visitors, this was the first opportunity to see the practical work of the lab from the inside.
Particular attention was paid to the introduction of modern diagnostic methods. During the event, high-efficiency fluid chromatography with mass spectrometric detection (VEEJXMS) was demonstrated, which was successfully put into operation and is used to detect residual amounts of veterinary drugs, mycotoxins, pesticides and other chemicals in animal products.
Within the framework of the open dialogue, the heads of the laboratories Diagnostics of Animal Diseases and Food Safety consulted the visitors, answered the questions and provided information on the services provided, the methods used and the prospects for expanding the activity.
The event was attended by representatives of the State University North Kazakhstan Regional Territorial Inspection , the State University Veterinary Administration of the North Kazakhstan region , the Kyrgyz District Veterinary Station, as well as the State University Republican Anti-Epizootic Troop .
The Open Doors Day has contributed to increasing the openness of the laboratory’s activities, strengthening cooperation with state bodies and informing stakeholders about the modern possibilities of laboratory diagnostics.
