On March 12 and 13, seminars were held to exchange experiences with colleagues from the Jetisus, Almaty and Kyzylorda regional laboratories responsible for working with laboratory animals.
After the seminars, the participants received training certificates. On 14 and 15 March in the South Kazakhstan Regional Branch, a meeting was held with FAO experts, who assessed the level of the laboratory and vivarium for compliance with the requirements of the ISO 17025 quality management system.
FAO’s mission is also to train the staff of regional veterinary laboratories on the identified weaknesses. Overall, the laboratory has shown a high level of compliance, but there are certain issues that require attention and correction.
