In light of the current challenges of the agricultural industry, the speed and accuracy of research are becoming key factors in ensuring quality and safety of agricultural products. The employees of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory took an active part in the ZOOM meeting on the issue of accelerating the conduct of research on agricultural products on microbiological indicators.
The meeting was attended by the general director of the RWL T.A. Elshibayev, the chairman of the KTRIM Elikbayev K.N., the deputy chairman of the KTRIM Kassimov B.T., the head of the department of the technical regulation and metrology committee for Akmola region N.E. Habiyev, the deputy head of the Coordination center for technical regulation Razzarenov A.A., and the expert of the Coordination center Zabekov A.T., as well as the employees of the central RWL apparatus Bayseitov S.T., Bektayuk A.S. and Teter S.N.
One of the issues discussed was the accreditation of RVL laboratories in all regions of Kazakhstan with the aim of introducing the PCR method when determining microbiological indicators. It should be noted that currently in RVL laboratories classical sowing methods are used, which are labor-intensive and last up to 5-8 days, not including the time spent on sampling and delivery of samples (e.g. 1-2 days).
In turn, this will speed up the process of issuing veterinary certificates, which will allow domestic producers to export agricultural products in the shortest possible time.
The introduction of PCR-testing expresses for the analysis of agricultural products in the Republican Veterinary Laboratory of Kazakhstan marks the transition to a new level of processes not only in the RVL, but also in the agricultural sector and the economy as a whole. Accelerating the process of issuing veterinary certificates and increasing the accuracy of analyses are key factors in the development of agriculture in the modern world.
