On 7 and 8 December 2022 in Moscow, under the auspices of the Federal Consumer Protection and Human Welfare Supervision Service (Rospotrebnadzor), with the technical assistance of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), an international conference on “Food security and joint efforts to reduce resistance to antimicrobial drugs” will be held, in which T.Elshibayev will participate together with representatives of the countries of Europe, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, the Russian Federation and Tajikistan.
During the conference, participants discussed food safety and joint efforts to reduce antimicrobial resistance, as well as the successful experience and recommendations of other countries.
It is important to note that food safety indicates that there is no unacceptable risk of harmful effects on humans and future generations.
