From September 7 to 25, 2026, specialists underwent training at the East Kazakhstan Regional Branch of the RSE on the REM “Republican Veterinary Laboratory” in Ust-Kamenogorsk on the practical application of high-performance liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometric detection.
The training was organized under the instruction of General Director Temirkhan Amantayevich Yelshibayev. Over the course of three weeks, specialists mastered the methods specified in GOST 32834-2022, GOST 34136-2017, and MI A 1-061, improving their practical skills in conducting research and ensuring the reliability of results.
The practical training was conducted by foreign experts — Chief Specialists Anton Olegovich Roshchin (Moscow, Russian Federation) and Ksenia Vitalyevna Avezova, who have specialized expertise and practical experience in the relevant field.
The main result was the expansion of the list of laboratory tests by an additional 10 indicators for determining residual levels of medicinal products.
Mastering the additional methods will enable RVL to expand its food safety control capabilities in accordance with the requirements of TR CU 021/2011 “On Food Safety”, increase the scope of laboratory testing, and strengthen control over residual levels of veterinary medicinal products in products of animal origin.
This is not simply professional development — it is an expansion of the analytical capabilities of the laboratory network, strengthening of the veterinary control system, and an additional contribution to ensuring food safety.
