The meeting was held within the framework of the Committee on Agrarian Affairs, Nature Use and Rural Development and was a key discussion platform on improving the domestic veterinary system.

During the event, the participants considered a wide range of topical issues related to the further development of the industry. At the center of the discussion was the current state of veterinary service, the need to institutionalize it and improve the effectiveness of management processes. Particular attention was paid to the modernization of laboratory infrastructure, providing modern conditions for conducting research, training and improving the qualifications of specialists.
It also discussed the optimization of digital solutions, the introduction of a full-fledged system of traceability of animal products, which will strengthen control at all stages – from the farm to the consumer.
Separately, measures aimed at increasing the prestige of the profession and improving the working conditions of veterinary service specialists were addressed.

The participation of Temirhan Amantayevich Elshibayev in the discussion emphasized the importance of the role of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory in the implementation of strategic tasks related to ensuring the biological and food security of the country.
