The Ministry of Agriculture has carried out work on developing and preparing for the launch of the module VetLab (animal diagnostic studies) in the information system Identification of agricultural animals.
The VetLab module is designed to transmit information on laboratory testing of samples in the field of diagnostics of diseases of agricultural animals. Within the framework of the launch of the module, processes are implemented to automatically form electronic documents (accompaniment letter, sample selection act and inventory) on samples of biological and pathological material selected from animals in the information system Identification of agricultural animals, sampling and transmission of research results in the VetLab module.
At the same time, the results of the studies automatically enter the information system Identification of agricultural animals, which allows to completely exclude the factor of timely, incomplete input of data on animal diagnostic studies. This will allow to see the overall picture of animal diseases diagnosed by laboratories across the country.
The VetLab module has undergone pilot testing in the Almaty, Karaganda, North Kazakhstan and Turkestan regions, taking into account proposals from laboratory specialists and veterinary doctors of local executive bodies.
The developers trained veterinary doctors of local executive bodies, veterinary laboratory specialists and veterinary inspectors in all regions of the country.
To date, 19,5 million animal blood samples have been sent to the national veterinary laboratory under the VetLab module, of which 3,4 million have not passed the corresponding conformity check.
