The discussion was attended by representatives of state bodies, expert community, international organizations and farmers’ associations.
Also in the work of the Round Table were the specialists responsible for the areas of food safety, antimicrobial resistance, biological safety, livestock, agriculture, as well as the participants of the Interdepartmental technical working group One health for the sustainability of the healthcare system in RK and the associate professor of S. Seyfullin KATIU Laura Autelieva.
During the event, the participants discussed approaches to forming a unified system of management of risks related to zoonotic infections, discussed tasks to strengthen intersectoral interaction, and developed recommendations for further implementation of the principles of One Health in practice.
The round table was an important platform for strengthening cooperation between different structures, sharing knowledge and forming a comprehensive approach to food safety and disease prevention.
