The practical part of the classes was held on the basis of the Astana regional branch, and the lectures were held on the basis of the Teaching-methodical center.

The training was attended by the directors, veterinary doctors and laboratories of 16 branches of the RWL: Akmoly, Almaty, Atyrau, Zhambyl, Zhetysu, West Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Kostanay, Kyzylorda, Mangystov, Pavlodar, North Kazakhstan, Turkestan, East Kazakhstan, Ulutau and Astana.

The classes were conducted by an invited specialist from Moscow – leading expert of the research-production enterprise Litech Sorokin Ivan. The participants underwent theoretical and practical training, got acquainted with the work on real-time PCR methodology on the basis of BioRad equipment.

The training has raised the level of competence of professionals in diagnosing brucellosis, which directly contributes to improving the quality of laboratory research and biosecurity across the country.
