In January 2026, in the Akmoly regional branch of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory, an emergency occurred due to the rupture of a pipe in the boiler room. The incident occurred on January 13 at 02:00 at an extremely low temperature of outdoor air (up to 32 °C).
Immediately after the accident was detected, the employees of the Akmola regional branch immediately began to eliminate the consequences and prevent the freezing of the heating system.

Information about the incident was immediately brought to the General Director of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory. On his instructions, emergency management and financial decisions were taken to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the branch during the freezing period. Despite the temporary technical limitations, the temperature regime was under constant control.
To eliminate the risk of repeated malfunctions, new boiler equipment, fully compliant with the established standards, was manufactured and supplied according to the management’s decision.
As of January 22, 2026, the work on installing the new boiler has been completed.
The operational actions of the branch team, as well as the timely management decisions of the Enterprise management, prevented the development of an emergency situation in extreme weather conditions and ensured the stable operation of the unit.
