The story

It was 1928.year

The Kostanay regional veterinary bacteriological laboratory was founded, which at the initial stage consisted of one bacteriological department to fight infectious diseases of animals.

The year 1936

A serology department is set up to investigate brucellosis and inflammation of the lungs.

The year 1940

The institute has been entrusted with the functions of researching leather raw materials for the Siberian plague.

In the mid-1950s.

Active development of infrastructure: a veterinary pharmacy, garages and vivariums have been built.

1959 to 1962

A branched structure is formed: helminthological, biochemical, radiological, ихтиopathological, mycological and histological departments, as well as a production department for the production of biopreparates are opened.

The year 2010

A new modern administrative-laboratory building has been handed over to the branch. A large network of 10 new modular district veterinary laboratories has been deployed in the region: Алтынсаринская, Amangeldina, Denisovskaya, Zhytykarynskaya, Karabalykaya, Karasu, Naurzumskaya, Sarikolskaya, Uzhunkolskaya and the district named after Beimbet Mailin.
