The meeting was attended by the employees of the production unit and the company’s specialists, as well as Claire Christine Cruz, Senior Regional Marketing Manager for Specialty Diagnostics Group Emerging Markets & Asian Pacific (Singapore), representing Thermo Fisher Scientific.
The purpose of the meeting was to exchange experience in the field of laboratory research and discuss modern solutions used in veterinary diagnostics and quality assurance.
During the event, Thermo Fisher Scientific representatives presented an overview of the latest laboratory equipment and technologies used in conducting research. Particular attention was paid to the determination of antibiotic resistance, including the disc-diffusion method and the method of serial breeding (according to EUCAST and CLSI standards).
Participants were also presented with solutions related to nutritional environments, control strains, QC-organisms, blood-cultivation systems, as well as chemical reagents used in laboratory practice.
During the meeting, the prospects of using innovative tools to improve the efficiency and accuracy of laboratory research, training of personnel and technical support were discussed.
The Director-General stressed the importance of studying advanced international experience and introducing modern technologies into the practice of domestic laboratories.
