From 1 to 5 June 2026, with the support of the General Director of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory Elshibayev Temirhan Amantayevich, the heads of the Structural Subdivisions of the Enterprise took part in the National Program for Laboratory Leaders and Leaders (NLLP/GLLP), which is being implemented in the Republic of Kazakhstan in order to strengthen the personnel potential of the laboratory system, improve management competencies and raise the level of biological safety.

The head of the department of strategic planning, risk assessment and external relations was trained.Kerimbayeva and Altynay Uskenbayevnaand the head of the methodology department and the training center .Bayseitov and Sayat Tullebayev. The program brought together laboratory leaders and specialists and was aimed at developing leadership qualities, improving laboratory activity management skills, as well as introducing modern international approaches in the field of biological safety and bioprotection.

During the training, participants discussed a wide range of topical issues related to organising and managing biosecurity programs, applying engineering and technical control measures, using personal protective equipment, handling biological and medical waste, transporting infectious materials, epidemiological oversight, responding to emergencies and outbreaks of infectious diseases, as well as validation and verification of laboratory research methods.

Particular attention was paid to risk management, the formation of a safety culture in laboratories, the improvement of quality management systems and ensuring the sustainable functioning of laboratory organizations in the context of modern biological challenges.

Participation in the program allowed you to get acquainted with advanced international experience, exchange practical knowledge with colleagues and get new tools for further improvement of laboratory activities.
