The study was conducted from 8 to 12 December 2025, with the aim of studying the residual content of veterinary medicinal products in food products using highly efficient mass spectrometry fluid chromatography (VEEXMS).

VECHMS is a modern method of analysis that allows for accurate and reproducible results, improving the quality of laboratory studies and expanding their capabilities from quality control to product safety assessment.

Within the framework of the training, residual amounts of veterinary medicines in milk, meat, honey, poultry meat and other animal products were studied, and the participants learned the practical skills of working with equipment and the key stages of analysis, which will significantly improve the effectiveness and accuracy of the studies conducted.

Practical classes were conducted by Anton Olegovic, chief application specialist / chemical engineer and Parfenov Ksenia Alexandrovna engineer-applicator.

The training was attended by specialists of the following divisions: the Almaty Regional Branch, the North Kazakhstan Regional Branch, the West Kazakhstan Regional Branch, the Zhambyl Regional Branch, the Astana Regional Branch, as well as the central apparatus of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory.

The knowledge gained will be an important contribution to the further development of laboratory research and the improvement of the quality of animal product safety control.
