The visit was part of the preparation for the opening of the laboratory, which is planned within the framework of the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the People’s Republic of China on the transfer of laboratory equipment for the East Kazakhstan region.

During the inspection of the laboratory building, the director-general was accompanied by the head of the veterinary department of the East Kazakhstan region administration, R. N. Sagindykov and his deputy, E. S. Batholdin, as well as specialists of the regional veterinary laboratory and representatives of the regimen commission.

A round table was held under the chairmanship of the first deputy of the Governor of East Kazakhstan region, N. A. Saktaganov. The participants of the round table, including the above-mentioned specialists, discussed the important issues of bringing the laboratory building into conformity with the normative documents.
