The Vice-Minister of Agriculture noted the importance of the work of the veterinary service of Kazakhstan and shared its development plans for the near future. The participants of the round table discussed the need to improve the work of the industry, attract young specialists, raise the qualifications of veterinary practitioners.
The Director General of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory, Temirhan Amantayevich, delivered a report on topical veterinary issues. In his speech, he stressed the need to organize information sessions for the population and farm workers to increase their knowledge about the rational use of antibiotics. He also pointed to the importance of regulating, controlling and compulsory accounting for the sale and use of antimicrobial drugs.
In conclusion, the participants of the round table noted that conducting such events contributes to strengthening the veterinary industry of Kazakhstan.
