The training was held from 22 to 26 April 2024 in the city of Almaty. The programme was organized by the RGP at the PHI National Center of Public Health of the Ministry of Health and the USAID Project Sustainability of local health system in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The aim of the seminar was to harmonize the training of personnel and increase the awareness of health, agriculture and ecology specialists. As a result of the training, participants have mastered modern methods of analysis and quality management in the laboratory, as well as gained knowledge and skills in the field of quality management system, biosecurity and antimicrobial resistance. This will allow them to effectively adapt the knowledge gained to the specific tasks and conditions of the laboratory to achieve optimal research results.

Raising the qualifications of the employees of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory is important for ensuring a high level of quality of laboratory services and achieving optimal research results. It also contributes to raising the overall level of professionalism and competitiveness of the health and veterinary industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The knowledge and skills gained will enable participants not only to effectively manage quality in the laboratory, but also to increase biosecurity and antimicrobial resistance, which is relevant and important in the context of contemporary challenges and requirements in public health and food safety.
