The director of the Astana regional branch of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory Alimjanova Gulnar Oralbayevna and the acting head of the department of organizing laboratory studies and planning Jandarbekov Sabit Nusupjanovich also participated in the working meeting.

During the meeting, the implementation of the requirements of the current legislation and normative legal acts on the organization of veterinary control of products imported into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan from third countries were considered. Particular attention was paid to the procedure for conducting laboratory investigations of controlled products, the organization of sample selection and ensuring interaction between the territorial divisions of veterinary control and the laboratory network of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory.

The parties discussed the mechanisms for conducting studies in accredited laboratories, compliance with veterinary and sanitary requirements at all stages of sample selection, transportation and study, as well as the procedure for ensuring veterinary control before obtaining the results of laboratory studies.

Within the framework of the meeting, the issues of the readiness of the laboratory network to conduct research on imported products, improvement of interagency interaction, improvement of the effectiveness of control measures and ensuring uniform approaches in the organization of laboratory control in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan were also considered.

Following the meeting, readiness was confirmed for further constructive cooperation aimed at ensuring veterinary and food safety, protecting the internal market, enhancing the effectiveness of state veterinary control and complying with international requirements in the sphere of animal products.
