The Republican Veterinary Laboratory is constantly implementing a set of activities aimed at modernising the laboratory infrastructure, raising the level of biological safety and creating safe working conditions for laboratory network workers.
Within the framework of the execution of the instructions of the General Director of the Enterprise, as well as in accordance with the requirements of the Order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. DSM-125, special attention is paid to the construction, modernization and compliance with sanitary-epidemiological and technical standards of flow-drain ventilation systems at the facilities of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory.
The implementation of these measures is an important component of the systematic work on strengthening the material and technical base of laboratories, ensuring the stability of production processes and minimising risks associated with the impact of biological and chemical factors in the research process.
In 2024, construction and installation works on the introduction and modernization of ventilation systems at a number of laboratory network facilities, including the Abaya and Atyrau regional branches, the Shusha district veterinary laboratory, the Zhambyl district veterinary laboratory, the T. Ryskulov RWL of the Zhambyl region, the Irgyz RWL of the Aktobe region, the Temir RWL, the Taypak RWL of the West Kazakhstan region, as well as the Sarkan RWL of the Zhetis region, have been successfully completed.
Within the framework of the projects, a complete cycle of work has been carried out, including the technical inspection of objects, the development of project solutions, the installation of modern ventilation equipment and the commissioning of systems.
The modernisation of ventilation systems is particularly important for laboratories working with biological materials, chemical reagents and potentially hazardous substances. The use of modern engineering solutions makes it possible to significantly increase the level of biological safety, improve the quality of the working environment, and ensure that laboratory premises comply with modern requirements in the field of sanitary and manufacturing safety.
The Republican Veterinary Laboratory is continuing to implement a policy of technical modernization, introduction of modern technologies and improvement of safety standards. The work in this direction has a systemic character and remains one of the key priorities in ensuring reliable, sustainable and safe operation of the laboratory network of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
