The event, organized with the support of USAID, took place at the National Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health and brought together about 60 healthcare, agriculture and ecology specialists.
The course was aimed at applying the interdisciplinary “One Health” approach, which involves a comprehensive interaction between human, animal and ecological health systems, to solve zoonotic problems, improve sanitary conditions and maintain ecological balance.
Participants have mastered methods of disease prevention and control, gained valuable knowledge that will help implement integrated solutions to improve public health. This experience will be an important step in ensuring the sustainable development of regions and strengthening cooperation between industries.
In general, this course promotes the improvement of the health system at regional and national levels, as well as the development of public health and veterinary medicine through the introduction of scientifically sound solutions.
