The inspection was carried out using the FAO-Laboratory Mapping Tool (FAO-LMT) and was aimed at a comprehensive assessment of infrastructure, technical equipment and compliance with biosecurity standards.
The evaluation was carried out by experts of international level in cooperation with representatives of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory. Particular attention was paid to the quality of equipment, ensuring laboratory processes and measures to prevent biological risks.
Within the scope of the review, practical trainings were conducted for laboratory staff on the use of modern diagnostic tools and the maintenance of biosecurity standards. Participants had the opportunity to exchange experience with international experts and receive recommendations on improving current processes.
The results of the inspection will provide a basis for further strengthening the laboratory network and introducing advanced methods of work, enabling the laboratory to cope effectively with modern challenges in veterinary diagnostics and confirming its status as a leader in its field.
Compliance with international standards not only increases the level of trust in laboratory services, but also contributes to a stable epidemiological status in the regions, playing an important role in protecting animal and human health.
