RVL employees are ensuring food safety at the fair .
You’ve probably noticed white-collar workers at regional agricultural fairs? These are RVL employees who have a mission to ensure the quality and safety of the products sold at the fair.
Every weekend, from 7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m., food safety specialists of the Astana Regional Branch go to fairs to conduct samples and issue certificates. They work in mobile laboratories equipped for the operational analysis of all presented livestock products.
Food products undergo rigorous examinations of appearance, smell, taste, and other parameters, and if the product fails primary analysis, it goes into more in-depth research.
RVL employees also carefully check the documentation of the sellers for agricultural goods: meat, milk, fish and much more.
At the last fair, where the Almaty and the Jetisoui regions were presented, RVL specialists analyzed 172 samples.
Thanks to such checks, residents and guests of the capital can be confident in the quality and safety of animal products sold at the fairs.
By the way, similar excursions to the fairs are carried out by the specialists of other branches.
Agricultural trade fairs of producers from the regions of Kazakhstan will last until 29 October 2023. They are held every weekend on Saturdays and Sundays.
