Within the framework of the work being carried out to modernize the laboratory network facilities and on the instructions of the general director of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory, activities aimed at increasing the reliability and durability of the premises of the Enterprise’s branches continue to be implemented.

During the period 2010-2012 on the territory of the Republic was carried out the construction of uniform modular veterinary laboratories with solid roof structures. In the course of many years of operation on a number of objects were identified shortcomings related to the impact of climatic factors, including the formation of leaks and the reduction of the operating characteristics of roof systems.

In order to increase the reliability of buildings and extend their service life, the repair and construction department of the enterprise has developed a new type technical solution single-scaled roofing system, adapted to the climatic conditions of the regions, snow and wind loads, as well as the requirements of efficient drainage.

Currently, this solution is being phased in at the facilities of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory. The implementation of the project will increase the airtightness of roof structures, improve the protection of buildings from atmospheric precipitation, reduce the risks of emergency situations and ensure a more reliable and long-term operation of laboratory network facilities.

Currently, the works are in the final stage at the Sheelian District Veterinary Laboratory of the Kyzylorda Regional Branch and the Bokeyorda District Veterinary Laboratory of the West Kazakhstan Regional Branch.

The work carried out is part of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory’s consistent policy to modernize the engineering infrastructure, increase the operational reliability of the facilities and create modern conditions for laboratory activities.
