With the support of the General Director of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory Elshibayev Temirhan Amantayevich at the Astana Regional Branch, a specialized course on the topic: Research of residual quantities of medicinal products using highly efficient fluid chromatography with mass spectrometric detection (VESHMS) started.

The course is designed for three weeks and is aimed at the in-depth development of modern instrumental methods of analysis.

On the first day of the course, the Director-General got acquainted with the progress of the sample training and the organization of the training process, stressing the importance of introducing modern analytical technologies into the activities of the laboratories and expressing confidence in the successful development of advanced methods by the participants.
The course is implemented in accordance with the requirements of the Technical Regulation of the Customs Union 021/2011 On food safety regarding control of residual quantities of veterinary medicinal products and is aimed at ensuring compliance of laboratory studies with the applicable regulatory requirements.
The implementation of this training contributes to the systematic improvement of the qualifications of specialists, strengthening of professional competencies and increasing the level of reliability of the results of laboratory studies. The improvement of the analytical base directly affects the effectiveness of control of quality and safety of food products, which is an important component of the national food security of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
