The training is being conducted within the framework of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Pandemic Fund’s ‘Pandemic Preparedness and Response Measures’ project based on the ‘One Health’ approach in Central Asia with the support of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory.
The training is a joint initiative of the FAO and the RVL and includes theoretical and practical training on EUCAST international standards.
Among the participants specialists of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory and the National Reference Centre for Veterinary Medicine.
The training was a significant step in the development of a stable laboratory system of AMR-supervision in Kazakhstan. The first head of the RGP RVL Elshibayev T.A. supports the initiative and emphasizes the importance of constantly raising the qualifications of specialists as a key element of an effective veterinary system.
