On November 12, the Republican Veterinary Laboratory welcomed the visit of representatives of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including Deputy Minister of Agriculture Berdalyn Amangali Bisenbayevich and Chairman of the Veterinary Control and Supervision Committee Tashimov Kazbek Kazihanovich.
The visit was part of the preparations for the parliamentary hearings on ‘Food security – the basis of national security’ planned by the Committee on Agricultural Affairs and Rural Development.
The visit of representatives of the Senate and the Ministry of Agriculture underscores the importance of the work of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory in strengthening food security and the development of the agricultural sector.
The visit also included a visit to the training and methodological center, where training programs for veterinary specialists were presented. The deputies noted the laboratory’s contribution to the training of qualified personnel, which plays a key role in ensuring the country’s food security.
In the run-up to the parliamentary hearings on food security, such visits provide a deeper understanding of the industry’s current challenges and identify the necessary steps for its sustainable development.
