During the meeting, the transfer of the building of the Regional Veterinary Laboratory (RVL) located in the city was discussed, it was transferred to the communal property of the Mangystau region, and it is planned to allocate the necessary funds for the construction of the new facility.

In addition, one of the key issues was the readiness of the Shetpe District Laboratory for accreditation. In 2024, permits were obtained for work with pathogenic biological agents, an application was submitted for primary accreditation.
