By the order of the General Director of the RGP at the PHA Republican veterinary laboratory Temirhan Amantayevich Elshibayevwork has been done on improving approaches to planning the need for laboratory rabbits used in studies of the overall toxicity of feed.

Within the framework of the task, a Methodology for calculating the need for laboratory rabbits was developed, and the proposals of regional and regional branches were considered, as well as the production load, the seasonality of the studies, the need for a reserve fund and the recovery period of the animals.

The main task of the work carried out increase the accuracy of planning and efficiency of the use of the enterprise’s resources.
