EIOS (Epidemic Intelligence from Open Sources) is an initiative of the World Health Organization aimed at early detection of threats to public health using open source data. Under the guidance of the WHO, this system enables information collection to be expanded and accelerated globally by combining the efforts of various agencies and organizations.
During three days, specialists from different structures of Kazakhstan studied the possibilities of the EIOS platform, exchanged experiences and strengthened interagency cooperation in the field of epidemiological supervision.
The country office of the World Health Organization in Kazakhstan thanked the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan for its ongoing and fruitful cooperation.
