The employees of the Republican veterinary laboratory have successfully completed training at the FGBU VNIIZ on determination of residual content of harmful substances in food products by the method of VESH-MS/MS.
This is one of the first steps in introducing the VECH-MS method in the RVL laboratory. The enterprise has begun to actively train specialists to keep up with the times and introduce advanced methods of analysis into the work.
Two groups of specialists took part in this important event:
I group from 18 to 22 March (40 academic hours).
II group from 8 to 12 April (40 academic hours).
The purpose of the training was to improve the qualifications of the staff and introduce advanced methods of analysis into laboratory practices.
– It’s a common device of the VECH-MS system.
– The theoretical foundations of mass spectrometry.
– The operating principle of the liquid chromatograph and its operation.
– The organization of internal controls.
– Sample preparation to quantify residual levels of antibiotics.
This will allow the Enterprise to control the quality and safety of food even more effectively, which is one of the key aspects of the activities of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory.
We would like to thank the Federal Food and Drug Administration for its professional training and the opportunity to exchange experience in veterinary medicine and food safety.
