Seminar for food safety laboratories for exchange of experience
From 4 to 8 December of this year, an interesting and useful seminar was held at the Republican Veterinary Laboratory on the basis of the laboratory of the Kostanay regional branch, where the food safety laboratories of the regional and regional branches exchanged experiences. The participants of the seminar had the opportunity to share their best work, professional findings and acquire new knowledge for themselves. Together with their colleagues, the specialists worked out individual problematic points and obtained positive results, which helped to raise their professional level.
The seminar was organized by the specialists of the department of methodology and educational center of the Central Academy of Sciences, veterinary science candidate S.T. Bayseitov, veterinary science candidate K.O. Sirmanov, G.B. Merzakipowa.
In addition, the laboratory directors also visited the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the Ahmet Baytursyanov Regional University of Kostanay and the Institute of Applied Biotechnology at the university, where they held lectures on topical topics in the field of food safety, such as “Alternative methods/express-methods of microbiological control of raw materials and food products” and “Antibiotics in food products”.

All participants of this important meeting expressed the opinion that such “experience trips” are necessary and should be regular. The Department of Methodology and the Education Center plans to continue to hold such events on an annual basis. This will allow food safety specialists to maintain their relevance and master new technologies and working methods.
