The Kazakh delegation was headed by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aydarbek Saparov. Within the framework of the session, the issues of biosecurity, prevention of the spread of cross-border animal diseases, development of international cooperation and strengthening of the global veterinary system are discussed.

During the speech, the Minister of Agriculture presented the results of the work being carried out in Kazakhstan on the modernization of the veterinary industry. It was noted that the veterinary system of the country today employs more than 15 thousand specialists, 168 modern laboratories and more than 2 thousand veterinary stations. Particular attention is paid to the development of the scientific-diagnostic base, modernization of the laboratory infrastructure and introduction of international standards in the field of veterinary safety.

Today, Kazakhstan is consistently strengthening the export potential of the agro-industrial complex and expanding the geography of livestock supplies. One of the priority directions remains to obtain the official status of a prosperous territory free of raccoon.

The Republican Veterinary Laboratory continues its work on developing the modern diagnostic base, introducing international standards and improving the laboratory system aimed at ensuring biological safety and strengthening the veterinary well-being of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
