The story .

The year 1967

The history of the branch begins with the activities of the Utrecht city veterinary station, which became the foundation for the future regional laboratory service.

January 2003

The first official state registration of the institution as Republican veterinary laboratory of the East-Kazakhstan regional branch of the RGKP. In 2005 the laboratory for the first time successfully passed accreditation for conformity to the international standard ISO/IEC 17025.

The year 2008

The branch has been transferred to the State Inspection Committee in the agro-industrial complex of the RXM.

November of the year 2009

The institution has been transformed into a branch of the RGP at PHV Republican Veterinary Laboratory KGI in the APK.

20102012 years

New modular laboratories (including the Zaysan RVL) have been put into operation, a building has been purchased for the Kurchum RVL. In all district units official permits have been obtained to work with microorganisms of IIIV groups of pathogenicity.

May of 2012

The branch is renamed Eastern Kazakhstan regional branch of the RGP on PHI Republican veterinary laboratory Committee of veterinary control and supervision of the KMH– What ?

The year 2025

Within the framework of the intergovernmental agreement, the central laboratory in Uttarakhand received 99 units of the latest high-precision equipment and furniture in the amount of 840 million tenge (digital microscopes, chromatographs, instruments for IFA and PCR), which allowed to increase the capacity to 550 thousand studies per year and eliminate technical barriers for the export of agricultural products.

April 2026

As a result of the successful inspection, the branch has received an updated accreditation certificate and continues to ensure a high level of food safety and well-being in the region.
