History

Until August 29, 1997

The region’s laboratory service operated on the basis of the Semipalatinsk City Veterinary Station.

1999

The institution was reorganized into the Semipalatinsk City Veterinary Laboratory of the Semipalatinsk Region.

2001

It operated under the status of the RSTE “Semgorvetlaboratory.”

2001–2003

Semipalatinsk Branch of the RSTE “Central Veterinary Laboratory” of the MoA of the RK.

2003–2008

Semipalatinsk Regional Branch of the RSE “Republican Veterinary Laboratory” of the MoA of the RK.

2008–2010

Semey Regional Branch of the RSE “RVL” under the CSI in the Agro-Industrial Complex of the MoA of the RK.

2010–2012

The institution was transferred to the organizational and legal form of an RSE on the REM within the CSI in the Agro-Industrial Complex of the MoA of the RK.

2012–2022

Semey Regional Branch of the RSE on the REM “Republican Veterinary Laboratory” under the CVCS of the MoA of the RK.

2022

Following the results of the enterprise’s annual collegium chaired by General Director T. Yelshibayev, the branch team was awarded a First-Degree Diploma for its significant contribution to the development of the organization.

From June 21, 2022 to the present

Following the establishment of the Abai Region, the branch was officially renamed the Abai Regional Branch of the RSE on the REM “Republican Veterinary Laboratory” under the CVCS of the MoA of the RK, ensuring reliable diagnostic control and the epizootic well-being of the region.
